When something goes wrong (a dog bite, car accident, a broken pipe), there’s an increased expectation that someone should pay, and insurance is usually that stop gap. Add to that the lack of qualified construction and other skilled workers, driving repair costs sky high. It is indeed a “perfect storm”. Insurance will change, with much higher costs for much reduced coverages.
